It's hard to put it into words. It looks dusty, traditional/folkloric in a way (mainly european) and sober, it has something that reminds me of wicker or a thatched surface. I haven't really seen anything like it

I really like that type of atmospheres, since i put only flat colors in my works i bullseyed the sensation that i need in my works.
And making my works in traditional inks makes more value the ambient with the flat colors.

In the year 2019 and 2016 you give me this vibe

h.r. giger
By exaggerated features and similar deformities you give me the vibe of

Francis Bacon
Alfred Kubin

and some images that represent cranes reminds me of images of Santiago Caruzo in his book "Dark matter"

I want to emulate the dark sensations of Kubin but i need to practice more with my ink brush technique. Caruso is new to me, he have very interesting works to study. :D!

Skulls* Edit lol No cranes

Death metal album cover artist and cool miniature painter that's it that's all

Thanks, it will very interesting make an album cover with my black and white works.
Miniature painting is hard and amazing sculpt is more hard , im stuck now in a cutaway miniature sculpture that im making, only i need to paint it to finish it.

Edward Gorey and Jim Woodring had a kid that was into videogames and woodblock asethetic.

I never heard before that artists until now, they are amazing, this will be good for inspiration in future works. :D!

I recommend the The Gashlycrumb Tinies (an alphabet book about the demise of 26 children) and the doubtful guest for example s of Gorey and the frank book or poochy town for some truly surreal comics by Woodring. For deeper horror I would also reccomend junji ito of two many excellent horror titles to mention and for the vibes I would say Tove Jannson and her original moonmin comics.
Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for the recomendations!! :D
Gyo of Junji Ito was a great inspiration in my 2016-2019 works, Tove Jansson have a great black and white art.

I'm not an expert with words, but I think the word I think the most when I look at your art pieces is....
Solemn.

Im i a big fan of the sacro art, i like the scenes in the paintings, in my illustration book will have many of that type of compositions in the works.

Illustrations for old sci-fi books, like 70-80's era.

I need to study more that type of works, i only seen a few in instagram or twitter.

Skutnik?

That artist is new to me, their works are very unique, another new inspiration for my works. :D!

@TazShelby2016 @dogmuth-behedog Matuesz Skutnik?
