@dogmuth-behedog i draw traditionally with pencil and copic markers (a slightly cheaper version)
the good monsters just came as a rough idea and i'll work it out over time.
I also like to use templates for well-known animes and mangas from time to time. Then analyze what I like about the character and then extract it. then I look for different versions (e.g. for the hairstyle) and use the dan.
initially there are similarities with the older character but the more you work on it, the more it becomes its own. to adjust the figures, i use the siloetten technique from the video.
so i can see how and what i need to change to give my monsters something unique.

i think it's really cool. i find the own pattern for the car in particular quite impressive.
What I like about my art is that my little monsters are often unmistakable even if you (even if some have a skin that is obviously a reference to other anime characters)
